乾隆丁亥冬，葬三妹素文于上元之羊山，而奠以文曰：
呜呼！汝生于浙，而葬于斯；离吾乡七百里矣。当时虽觭梦幻想，宁知此为归骨之地耶？汝以一念之贞，遇人仳离，致孤危托落。嗟乎！岂意汝今日又行负于九泉之下哉！

In the winter of the year of Dinghai during the Qianlong era, my third sister Suwen was buried at Yangshan in Shangyuan, and I offered this essay as a memorial:
Ah! You were born in Zhejiang and buried here; it is seven hundred li away from our hometown. At that time, though I had fanciful dreams, how could I have known that this would be your final resting place? Because of your unwavering belief, you encountered separation and betrayal, leaving you isolated and destitute. Alas! Who would have thought that today you would again be wronged under the earth!
