Jeremy Lin, widely known as JLIN or simply Lin, is an American professional basketball player of Taiwanese descent. Born on August 23, 1988, in Palo Alto, California, he has become one of the most prominent Asian-American athletes in history. Standing at 6 feet 3 inches (191 cm) tall and weighing 197 pounds (89 kg), Lin plays primarily as a point guard but can also play shooting guard.

Lin attended Harvard University, where he was a standout player for the Harvard Crimson men's basketball team.
