I called my invention “EcoGuard.” It is a small box that connects to the home electricity and water systems. It uses sensors to detect when energy is being wasted, such as when lights are left on in an empty room or when water is running unnecessarily. When this happens, EcoGuard sends a signal to a mobile app on the user's phone, reminding them to turn off the lights or stop the water flow.

After several months of research, design, and testing, I finally built a working model of EcoGuard. It was not easy, but I felt very proud when it worked for the first time. I even presented it at our school science fair, where it received a lot of positive feedback from teachers and students.
